Ha Thanh village is a lowland of Phuong Do commune in Ha Giang city, located about 6km from the city center, surrounded by terraced fields. The village has 117 households with nearly 600 people and 100% of the people are Tay people

This 5 days 4 nights trip provides a day hiking to the local ethnic minority village. Experiences of local culture and enjoying the landscpes of Dong Van Karst Geopark.
Itinerary
Morning comes from Ha Giang city to Thon Tha, a beautiful village of the Tay ethnic group before mountain climbing to Lung Vai village through to the rice terraces and green tea plantations on the buffalo’s trails. On top of the mountain we will the panorama views the small villages around and the jungle.
On the top are some villages of Black Dao tribe, one of ethnics minority in Vietnam, where we are going to have Lunch in a traditional house of Black Dap people, you will have beautiful photographs of rice fields, mountains, Dao girls in traditional costume … after lunch, you will glaze on the forest trails to another village of the Tay people. If it’s a hot day you will able to swim in the waterfall then you overnight in a traditional stilt house of Tay people right next to it. Enjoy the traditional food of local for dinner, talking with family and drink the corn liqueur that will make you have an enjoyable.
Travel by motorcycle (Car ) tour to visit Ha Giang highlands. From Ha Giang city we will go up to Dong Van karst plateau geopark via Quan Ba heavens gate – with an altitude over 1000 meters compared to the sea level you will have some panoramas pictures before go down hill to peasful town of Tam Son (Quan Ba) with the fairy's bosom mountain.
We will have a delicious lunch in one of the local restaurants in Trang Kim village before we continue our way to Lung Tam Village. In this village of the H’mong minority, we will learn how to make fabrics from locally grown hemp in Northwest Vietnam. There, you will have the opportunity to talk to the local people to learn about their way of life, culture and customs.
After that, we will continue to Du Gia village, which is a village of Tay tribe, beautiful and peaceful village. It is a village in Ha Giang which retains the traditional beauty of culture, stilt house, traditional costumes and their own language…very authentic village.
After arrived in Du Gia if the temperature is warm enough you will have an opportunity to swim in a very beautiful waterfall with very clean and fresh water from the primary forest – Du gia waterfall.
Trek around the village before dinner.
Stay overnight with Tay’s family in a local traditional stilt house.
After breakfast, then leave the home stay drive to centre of Dong Van karst plateau geopark. On the road visit some villages of white H’mong people. Take a rest in Meo Vac town before take motorcycle to drive to Dong Van via Ma Pi Leng pass. The most beautiful pass in Vietnam, majestic landscape,… deepest valley Southeast Asia. Climb up to the nice view poit on the top of mountain to see the sun set. Come back and stay one night in Dong Van old quarter.
After breakfast, take motorcycle to drive to Vietnam’s northernmost point – Lung Cu flagpole not only for beautiful mountain landscape you could stop and walk around the village of Lo Lo and Giay peole. On the road visit some villages of white H’mong people, the Vuong’s family palace (H’mong king palace), and very beautiful mountain landscape.
We will have a delicious lunch in one of the local restaurants in Pho Cao village before we continue our way to Lung Tam Village. In this village of the H’mong minority, we will learn how to make fabrics from locally grown hemp in Northwest Vietnam. There, you will have the opportunity to talk to the local people to learn about their way of life, culture and customs.
About 6pm you will be arrived in Nam Dam, a beautiful village and traditional of Dao people. Enjoy the traditional food of local for dinner, talking with family and drink the corn liqueur that will make you have an enjoyable evening.
After breakfast you will have a half day to discovert around Nam Dam village and Quan Ba areas as to visit the peaceful town of Tam Son (Quan Ba) with the fairy twin mountain, Lung Khuy cave – the most beautiful caves of Ha Giang, Pac sum pass…
We will have Lunch in a restaurant in Minh Tan village on the way back to Ha Giang city.
After lunch continue to visit some village around Ha Giang and a small lake named Ho Noong then going back to Ha Giang city.
Tour the end, then you could sleep one more night in Ha Giang city or take a night bus back to Ha Noi or somewhere else.
We have overnight buses leaves at 8 pm and Limousine bus leaves at 4 pm everyday for your options.

No. There are no ATMs on this trek route. You will have to draw enough cash in Pokhara or Kathmandu. There are a number of ATMs in these cities. Everything is paid in Nepali rupees. So money should be exchanged before the start of the trek.
