With 2 nights at a homestay of 2 different ethnic minorities, you have a different experience than 1 night at a hotel in Dong Van town.
Itinerary
Take our motorcycle (Car) to visit Noong lake a small lake in Phu Linh community via some villages of the Tay tribe before going to Bac Me district, you will continue to enjoy the beauty of the jungle and rice fields on the way.
We will have a delicious lunch in one of the local restaurant in Minh Ngoc village .
After lunch continue to Du Gia village, which is a village of Tay tribe, very beautiful and peaceful. It is a village in Ha Giang which retains the traditional beauty of culture, stilt house, traditional costumes and their own language…very authentic village.
After arrived in Du Gia if the temperature is warm enough you will have an opportunity to swim in a very beautiful waterfall with very clean and fresh water from the primary forest – Du gia waterfall.
Trek around the village before dinner.
Stay overnight with Tay’s family in a local traditional stilt house.
After breakfast, then leave the home stay drive to centre of Dong Van karst plateau geopark. On the road visit some villages of white H’mong people, Black Dao people in Sa Ly you could see very nice landscape of Rice terrace, green tea plantation and corn field ….Take a rest have lunch in Meo Vac town before drive to Dong Van town via Ma Pi Leng pass – The most beautiful pass in Vietnam, majestic landscape,… deepest valley Southeast Asia. Then continue the head to Dong van town. Climb up to the nice view poit on the top of mountain to see the sun set.
Come back and stay one night in Dong Van old quarter.
After breakfast, take motorcycle ( car) to drive to Vietnam’s northernmost point – Lung Cu flagpole. Take a short walk up to Vietnam’s northernmost point – Lung Cu flagpole. It is not only for a beautiful mountain landscape views from the top of dragons mountaint you also can see some of Chinese villages around the borderland.
On the way down hill to Quan ba we will stop and walk around the village of Giay, white H’mong people, the Vuong’s family palace (H’mong king palace), and very beautiful mountain landscape.
We will have a delicious lunch in one of the local restaurants in Pho Cao village before we continue our way to Lung Tam Village. In this village of the H’mong minority, we will learn how to make fabrics from locally grown hemp in Northwest Vietnam. There, you will have the opportunity to talk to the local people to learn about their way of life, culture and customs.
About 6pm we will arrive in Nam Dam, a beautiful village and authentic of Indigo Dao people. Then spend the night in Nam Dam village of Quan Ba district, you stay overnight in a traditional clay walled of Dao people . Enjoy the traditional food of local for dinner, talking with family and drink the corn liqueur that will make you have an enjoyable evening.
After breakfast you will have a half day to discovert around Nam Dam village and Quan Ba areas as to visit the peaceful town of Tam Son (Quan Ba) with the fairy twin mountain, Lung Khuy cave – the most beautiful caves of Ha Giang, Pac sum pass…
We will have Lunch in a restaurant in Minh Tan village on the way back to Ha Giang city.
After lunch continue to visit the village of the Tay, it is the most beautiful villages of Ha Giang Vietnam as well as at two villages of Thon Tha and Ha Thanh. After that relax and bath in the waterfall #6 before going back to Ha Giang city.
Come back Ha Giang city.
Tour the end, then you could sleep one more night in Ha Giang city or take a night bus back to Ha Noi or somewhere else.
We have overnight buses leaves at 8 pm and Limousine bus leaves at 4 pm everyday for your options.

No. There are no ATMs on this trek route. You will have to draw enough cash in Pokhara or Kathmandu. There are a number of ATMs in these cities. Everything is paid in Nepali rupees. So money should be exchanged before the start of the trek.
