Ha Giang, the province’s landscape is spectacular, with its many high rocky summits, its striking limestone formations and its numerous springs. It is a relatively unpopulated area of Vietnam due to its challenging topography, which makes it an ideal base for trekking tours.
Overview
Counting about a thousand species of herbal plants, bamboos and many species of trees, the primary forest is as pretty as a postcard with its cascading streams, waterfalls and pools. It also shelters abundant wildlife, and patient observers may be rewarded by an encounter with a pangolin or a specimen of the 16 species of reptiles or 36 species of amphibians known to live in the area, to name but a few inhabitants.
Itinerary
Take a motorcycle (_Car) visit the villages of the Tay tribe, there are the most beautiful villages of Ha Giang Vietnam as well as at two villages in Tjon Tha and Ha Thanh. You will have a short walk around 1 hour before continue ti visit and swim (_if the hot weather)
in the waterfall #6 before going to Quan Ba district, you will continue to enjoy the beauty of the jungle and rice fields. You will have lunch in a small local restaurant on the way.
After lunch, we continue to visit Ha Giang highlands. We will go up to Dong Van karst plateau geopark via Quan Ba heavens gate – with an altitude over 1000 meters compared to the sea level uou will have some panoramas pictures before go down hill to peasful town of Tam Son (Quan Ba) with the fairy twin mountain, Lung Khuy cave – the most beautiful caves of Ha Giang…
We will arrive in Nam Dam village around 5pm Nam Dam village is a beautiful and traditional village of Indigo Dao people. Then spend the night in Nam Dam village of Quan Ba district, you stay overnight in a traditional stilt house of Dao people . Enjoy the traditional food of local for dinner, talking with family and drink the corn liqueur that will make you have an enjoyable evening.
After breakfast, take motorcycle to drive to Vietnam’s northernmost point – Lung Cu flagpole.
not only beautiful mountain landscape you could stop and walk around the village of Lo Lo and Giay peole.
On the road visit some villages of white H’mong people, after that we continue our way to Lung Tam Village. In this village of the H’mong minority, we will learn how to make fabrics from locally grown hemp in Northwest Vietnam. There, you will have the opportunity to talk to the local people to learn about their way of life, culture and customs, and very beautiful mountain landscape.
Then continue the head to the northernmost point of Vietnam farther land.
On the way we are going to visit the Hmong kings palace before go to the north of Dong Van area and stay in LoLo village. LoLo is a small village of LoLo people tribal . They are living in the northern of Vietnam its very close to China, after a short walk aroundvillages we come back to have dinner and stay overnight wirh local family accommodation.
Atter breakfast we will leave the homestay to Dong van town.
After 2 hours on the bike we stop in Dong Van town, take a rest and enjoy a cup of coffee in Dongvan old quarter.
Before to drive to Meo Vac town via Ma Pi Leng pass. The most beautiful pass in Vietnam, majestic landscape,… deepest valley Southeast Asia. We will Have lunch in Meo Vac town.
After lunch continue t After to Bao Lac by motorcycle, walk around and spend one night at the hotel in Bao Lac.
From Bao Lac you go to Ba Be lake and stay in Pac Ngoi village of Tay people
Tour organized in 7 hours boat trip.
Tour the end, then you could stay one more day in Ba Ba lake or take bus go to Ha Noi at 4 pm and arrive around 9 pm.
